Pink to white, well sorted sandstone, with graded siltstone/sandstone units averaging 10 metres in thickness occurring at regular intervals. |
| Definition of Lower Boundary: |
Transitional, marked by incoming of rhythmically graded siltstone/sandstone units, disappearance of conglomerate bands, and lightening of colour. |
| Definition of Upper Boundary: |
Change to argillaceous sedimentation (not exposed). |
| Thickness: |
400 metres at type locality; thins northwards, probably to zero by NJ 523 281; reaches approx. 700 metres without top being reached at Wester Clova (NJ 451 194). |
