Taken at the transition into coarse sandstones of the Bayston-Oakswood Formation. |

From 75 m to 150 m thick. |
| Geographical Limits: |
Welsh Borderlandsm, specifically Sheet 152 (Shrewsbury), 165 (Montgomery) and 166 (Church Stretton). Disappears laterally due to faulting or is concealed by superficial deposits. |
