| Definition of Upper Boundary: | The top is placed at the base of the Wernffraith Seam (correlated with the Mynyddislwyn Seam of the eastern part of the South Wales Coalfield) overlain conformably by the mudstone-dominated succession of the Grovesend Formation. | ||
