| Lithological Description: |
Heterogeneous silts, sands and clays. The bulk of the member is composed of red, soft silty clays, laminated reddish or grey clays and silty fine-grained sands with a few scattered pebbles. It includes bodies of reddish brown, Trias-rich till, similar to the Thrussington Till Member (THT), and the silts are analogous to the Wolston Clay Member (WOC) of the Avon Valley and Leicestershire. |
