Lithological Description: Comprises olive-grey, sandy, silty clay with scattered lithic clasts. The matrix is largely composed of reconstituted Kimmeridge Clay and the clasts consist of subangular to subrounded fragments of chalk, flint, older Mesozoic limestones and sandstones, and quartz and quartzite pebbles.
