| Lithological Description: |
Thickly-bedded schistose psammite. Relict bedding seen in lower few hundred metres, but more flaggy towards top. Cross-bedding well-developed, giving good younging directions. Minor quartzite units locally present. |

Gradational boundary with underlying Kynachan Quartzite Formation. |

Sharp, conformable boundary with Dunalastair Quartzite Formation. |

| Geographical Limits: |
From Allt na Moine Buidhe near Mullinavadie [NN 713 611] via the south slopes of Creag Kynachan [NN 751 576] and the Allt Kynachan [NN 778 575] to the Loch Tay Fault [NN 802 598]. Also has small outcrop near the structural dome resulting from interference of the Clunes and Bohespic antiforms [NN 744 627]. |
