Lithological Description: Mainly coarse gravel with its base at 53 m above OD. It contains abundant Carboniferous Limestone chert and limestone clasts, the latter particularly as angular cobbles.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Bedrock.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Overlain by the Thrussington Till Member.
Thickness: Up to 3 m.
Geographical Limits: A series of pits dug at Hathern is the only known locality.
Parent Unit: Wolston Glacigenic Formation (WOLS)
