| Lithological Description: |
Grey, brown weathering, bioclastic limestone bed up to 0.1 m thick, with abundant bivalve fragments and limestone pebbles, overlain by brownish grey, weathering to reddish, ferru-ooidal limestone/calcareous ooidal ironstone bed up to 0.3 m thick. Fauna includes gastropods, bivalves, forams, ammonites, belemnites and crinoids. |

Sharp change up (probably an erosive non-sequence) from mudstone with argillaceous limestone nodules of undifferentiated Foston Member into limestone with pebbles as above; at 182.60 m depth in type section Copper Hill Borehole (SK94SE/56). Base of Glebe Farm Bed marks base of Charmouth Mudstone Formation in this area. |
