Definition of Upper Boundary: At Kildorais, Trotternish, the Flodigarry Shale Member is seen to be overlain by Paleocene palagonite tuff (Morton and Hudson, 1995).
Thickness: none recorded or not applicable
Geographical Limits: Trotternish district, Skye, north-west Scotland. A small fault-bounded sliver of mudstone and sandstone at Duart Bay, eastern Mull was also referred to the member by Barron et al. (2012).
