About 2m adjacent to type locality, but elsewhere thickness of 4m or more are common. An anomalous thickness of about 7m was recorded at the south-east corner of South Paddock of Trinity College; this probably represents infill of a channel. |

Restricted to local area adjacent to Barnwell Station, Cambridge, but could possibly be extended to include other areas mapped as 1st terrace of River Cam by British Geological Survey |
