Lithological Description: The lower 80-100 cm comprises parallel thin beds of brown polleniferous sand. This pollen was partly derived from reworking of soils around the site and partly from contemporaneous sparse grassland. The upper 50-70 cm of the sand is non-polleniferous.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Overlies the organic sands of the Teindland Palaeosol Formation (TELND).
Definition of Upper Boundary: none recorded or not applicable
Thickness: Up to 1.5 m.
Geographical Limits: Elgin District.
